The Promoveo Platform offers an energy management system for every home.
The solution provides an energy dashboard giving the homeowner real-time information about the energy usage and a simple and intuitive graphical user interface to control it. Access to understandable information for the homeowner creates awareness which motivates and triggers change.
The platform takes the information from smart meters from a variety of energy sources like electricity, solar and water and presents a graphical presentation of usage over time, e.g. last week, month or year. The system will also display a benchmark bar showing “best”, “worst” and “average” and “current” usage per utility per time period. This can for example be the maximum, minimum and average electricity you have used over a week period and what is the current usage.
The platform allows for intelligent energy savings like heating automatically being switched off when windows are opened, lights being switched off when no one is present and individual heating control at a per room level.
Further to that you can perform multitask operations with single button control, e.g. when you leave the home you press the away scene which puts your home into energy savings mode like switching off all lights, lowering the heating with a few degrees and switching off your audio system. The platform is also fully configurable for the home owner to define eco buttons per floor or room which is pressed when leaving an area in the house to put that area into energy saving mode.
We are fully utilising the energy saving potential within the KNX standard. In case of the temperature being lowered by 1˚C an energy saving of 6% can be achieved. If the heating control is combined with presence detectors, further potential savings can be made. Studies show that a constant brightness control can save 35% to 50% of energy costs.
The Promoveo Energy Management solution can also work as a stand-alone “Eco Dashboard” providing you information and analysing your energy consumption.
