For ease of use and ease of configuration, Promoveo wins hands down
It was with great pleasure Promoveo welcomed a new group of KNX integrators and consultants to the first training seminar of the year at the Promoveo offices at Worlds End Studios in Chelsea, London.
Promoveo develops energy management and home automation solutions. Promoveo has developed a unique concept of KNX visualisation where an installation is configured within hours, providing a user interface designed by designers, which combines both energy management and home automation.
The training course participants represented wholesalers, sales consultants and KNX integrators. The training instructor was Mr. Marco Koyne, who is a KNX Professionals Germany Board Member and an industry expert with extensive practical experience from KNX projects both in Germany and internationally.

Mr Koyne first introduced the Promoveo principles of simplicity and ease of use of the system. He then presented the set up of the Promoveo Server, clients and the configuration tool. After enjoying lunch around the corner in Lots Road, we headed back to the second part of the seminar which was hands on practical training. The participants uploaded their new Promoveo project configurations onto the server and then, after just an hour of configuration time, they could see and test their own configured user interface controlling the KNX test equipment.

At the end a practical “mini-exam” was given before announcing a new group of Promoveo Certified Integrators.

Some of the feedback during the day was:
“Where I could spend five days on the visualization with other systems I could configure the same project within a day with the Promoveo system.”
“For ease of use and ease of configuration, Promoveo wins hands down”
“Compared to other systems the time saving is significant and the UI still looks better”
The next training takes place in Berlin on the 29th of January and in London on the 23rd of February.
