Configuration Tool
The Promoveo Configuration Tool has been designed to make the professional integrator’s life as simple as possible and to achieve the most efficiency in installation.
The process of building the contents of the User Interface for each home is automated, with functionality available for configuring the features relevant to the users’ needs. The strength of the Promoveo User Interface design means that installers do not have to perform any design work themselves, thus freeing up their time to ensure the physical installation of technology is correctly achieved. The interface to the KNX technology is managed by the Promoveo Configuration Tool. This imports ETS Group Address data which allows the installer to re-use the work they already carry out in programming KNX devices.
The Promoveo Configuration Tool provides a simple and intuitive tool to configure the Promoveo Server which determines which information will be displayed in the client UI. After ETS data is imported, the tool provides drag and drop functionality and red and green flags as a step-by-step user guide to determine current status of the configuration. A typical project (e.g. a four bedroom house) will be fully configured within hours. No visualisation is required to be designed by the integrator.
The Promoveo platform can both be used in new installations and can also be used to visualise any existing KNX installation as a retrofit option.
